“Day of the Dead” was a Babylon 5 episode where several characters each got a visit from a dead person - sometimes someone they’d been close to, sometimes not, but they all had interesting conversations - that lasted for one night. Translating that idea to White Collar could be quite awesome. Except I’d probably mix it up a bit.

So far I’m thinking:

Neal - Byron (I want them to meet! And spend all night telling heist stories! I think they’d have a great time!)
June - Ellen (Again, two people who should meet, and I think they’d have a lot in common despite coming from opposite sides of the law. Although having Kate visit June is also tempting.)
Mozzie - Kate (Because they’re too much fun to write together, and I think Mozzie appreciates Kate a lot more now that she's gone than he ever did when she was alive. Because she’s someone Neal listened to who wasn’t a fed and now he wishes he had an ally pulling Neal toward his side of the law. And they could stay up and watch movies and snark at each other.)
Peter - Adler (Because I’m evil. And I think they’d have an interesting conversation.)
Elizabeth - Fowler’s wife (They can commiserate about the difficulties of being FBI spouses, and how frustrating it is when their husbands do stupid things and don’t listen to them! Seriously, this could be a lot of fun.)

(Of course, I kind of want Kate to visit everyone on this list. Or maybe she visits Fowler, and they spend the whole night sniping at each other. Yeah, I know I’m not who you wanted a visit from, I’m not happy about it either, you don’t think I’d rather be hanging out with Neal right now? At least he can cook. And he’d have decent wine available …)

Thoughts? Anyone have other suggestions?

Yes, it is a wonderful thing that the mods were nice enough to give you a two-week extension to finish your wcpairings fic.

This does NOT mean you now have time to take a break from said wcpairings fic to go plot out June&Diana post-Empire City fic. That would be a terrible idea.

I don't care how awesome the plotbunny promises it could be, it can wait until you're done with wcpairings. And whitecollar_bb.

I have this bad habit of starting too many fics all at the same time, and then I wonder why it takes me such a long time to finish them ...

How many times have we seen Diana actually fire a weapon in the line of duty?

The only time I'm remembering is in 2.02 - am I forgetting something?
